Stanley Park Junior School is seeking a Co-opted Governor to serve as an active member of its Governing Board.
The school is keen to hear from individuals who have experience of finance, premises  management, or business links within the local community.

Above all the school is looking for a new governor who will support the school’s strategic vision and work with it to improve the
outcomes for all our pupils.
This is a voluntary role and it will enable the governor to utilise existing skills and experience, as well as offering opportunities for training and personal development.
The school would require a minimum commitment of approximately 20 hours over an academic year. This involves attendance at four board meetings per year (usually on a Monday evening) and membership of at least two committees, which meet termly (daytime or evening).
You can find more information, including at application form, on the school’s website www.spjs.org/governors or by emailing [email protected]

Alternatively please call Headteacher Amanda Lamy on 020 8647 7497 for an informal chat, or to arrange a visit to our school.
