Thirty six shoe boxes were collected for Operation Christmas Child by residential housebuilder Barratt London in Wallington, SM6. The gift-laden boxes were collected from the sales and marketing suite at New Mill Quarter on Hackbridge Road last week and are now on their way to be opened on Christmas day by less fortunate children across the world. In addition to the New Mill Quarter collection, Barratt London gathered over 260 shoe boxes at its various developments throughout the Capital to be distributed worldwide.

Pam Reardon, Sales and Marketing Director for Barratt London comments: “Thank you to everyone who brought a Christmas shoe box along to New Mill Quarter in the last couple of weeks. Hopefully these generous contributions will go a little way to bring a bit of Christmas cheer to children in other parts of the world.”

She adds: “We support many charities throughout the year and while most are in London, we feel that bringing a few smiles to children’s faces around the world this Christmas is such an incredibly worthwhile cause.”
