Carshalton & Wallington MP Tom Brake has released his 2018 Annual Report outlining the work he has done over the past 12 months.
The report updates residents on Tom’s campaigns, including an attempt to secure £400 million of investment for St Helier and improve local train services.
Tom Brake said:
“Every year I produce an Annual Report to let local people know about the work I do on their behalf here in Carshalton and Wallington and up in Westminster.
“2018 was another extraordinarily busy year with the national landscape dominated by the debate around Brexit and the EU. Meanwhile, locally, we had a hectic 12 months of campaigning on key issues that matter to local people, like St Helier Hospital, police cuts and Southern Rail.
“As an MP, I’ve continued to be as supportive and easily accessible as possible to residents, following up over 10,000 issues in the last year. I’ve also continued to hold my weekly advice sessions and monthly street stalls as well.
“My Annual Report is being delivered to households across Carshalton and Wallington at the moment. In the meantime, residents can view a digital version on my website which outlines 101 events or issues I was involved with last year: www.tombrake.co.uk/2018.”
