Sutton jeweller, Warrenders is delighted to announce that it will be hosting an in-store jewellery cleaning event on Friday 8th and Saturday 9th March in order to raise money for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.
The family-run firm invites members of the public to drop in to its Cheam Road store between 9.30am-5.30pm and have up to three pieces of jewellery professionally cleaned by their in-house goldsmith in exchange for a donation to the charity.
A world-leading cancer centre, The Royal Marsden pioneers the latest cancer treatments and research. All money donated to the charity funds the provision of nurses, doctors and research teams at the centre to develop life-saving treatments to be used in hospitals around the world.
Richard Warrender of Warrenders said: “The Royal Marsden is a cause very close to our hearts here at Warrenders. The hospital pioneer incredible work revolutionising cancer treatment and are responsible for helping to improve the lives of many people affected by cancer. We are proud to be doing our bit to help this important cause.”
Warrenders’ staff will also be taking part in The Banham Marsden March on Sunday 10th March to raise money for the hospital. The sponsored walk involves a 15 mile trek between the charity’s two hospitals in Chelsea and Sutton.
