Save the Children – Sutton & District 1919 – 2019 Centenary – 100 Years.

The Save the Children Sutton district centenary celebrations are in full swing.

The group has already taken part in the historic Cheam Village “Charter Fair” which raised £75.

Other events include:

Jul 7th 3pm * Judith Burton’s SUMMER CONCERT of piano music given by her pupils in the Recital Hall,Reigate Grammar School, Reigate Road, Reigate. RH2 OQS.

South Coast Run’ Eastbourne/Arundel 100k Aug 31 Saturday; a Sutton branch volunteer is running for ‘Mary Kasey’. Details/sponsorship 

November 2nd * Our annual Quiz & Raffle – as rejuvenated, it will include multiple choice and fun clues and time for socialising  and our very popular fish and chips

Other events not in the borough include:

May 28th at 7.30 pm at The Notre Dame School Cobham  ‘EGLANTYNE’ a 70 min ‘one man show’ about our founder as highly acclaimed especially last summer at the Edinburgh Festival. 

Bells for Eglantyne– around Dec 15. Save the Children volunteers to encourage their local parish churches to ring their bells in England/UK country-wide for our founder, Eglantyne Jebb
