In recognition of Mary Kasey’s more than 50 years service to Sutton and district Save the Children  Andy Marsh is undertaking the gruelling 100k South Coast Run.
Mary died earlier this year following service which was recognised by the award of the British Empire.
Andy is to run the 100k to help Save the Children who have been fighting for children every day for 100 years.
“The charity stands side by side with children in the place no one else will go,” said a spokesperson for the branch.
“We give everything to make sure they survive their first fragile years, get protection when they’re in danger, and have the chance to learn. Last year, the support of incredible people like those who support our branch helped 22 million to survive, learn and stay safe.”
