Landlords can match tenants quickly and easily following the launch of a bold new digital initiative.

Landlords frequently find the process of matching tenants to their rental properties  time consuming and time wasting but renttll.co.uk has been developed to solve this.

Take a look at rentll.co.uk now.

It has been designed and developed by Encompass LATC a local authority trading company established by the London Borough of Sutton which is responsible for a wide range of services including temporary accommodation and homelessness prevention.

The LATC is devising a range of initiatives to combat homelessness after winning a bid for funding from the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG)

Lorraine Thomas, Managing Director Encompass LATC  said, “Our bid proposal centred around developing an online system that would engage landlords in a new and exciting way, providing a viable alternative to letting agencies whilst driving down the numbers of households living in temporary and emergency accommodation. We have developed good relationships with Sutton Landlords through our successful Private Sector Lettings and Leasing services. Having listened to their feedback we know there is a real demand to access more of our services online and a desire to be able to find out more about potential tenants. With renttl.co.uk we achieve that and more”.

renttl.co.uk is more than just a website though and has been designed as a wrap around service to provide maximum benefit to both landlords and tenants.

All tenants using the system will complete a bespoke tenancy training skills course covering  a range of topics designed to help find and manage a tenancy. The course is provided and delivered in partnership with Shelter and Sutton Council’s Welfare Reform team and is one of several initiatives aimed at creating lasting tenancies.

Landlord liaison and tenancy sustainment officers are on hand to guide landlords and tenants every step of the way and a range of financial incentives are available to landlords who sign up tenants through renttl.co.uk.

Councillor Jayne McCoy, chair of Sutton Council’s Housing, Economy and Business Committee said: “Sutton is already a great place to live,

work and raise a family and this new service will make it even easier for people to find a place to live in the borough. Encompass is leading the sector, introducing new services and ways of working. We established Encompass to improve the service we offer to residents, landlords and partners and we’re pleased to see them doing just that”.

The new system has been designed and built from the ground up and is powered by a custom algorithm which perfectly matches let-ready tenants to landlords.

Marcus Rees-Harris, Head of Business Development, Encompass LATC, said “Utilising the skills and services of Encompass Innovate – our digital transformation agency, we were able to keep development costs to a minimum and deploy the new system rapidly, ensuring maximum value for money. We are very excited to bring our dynamic new platform to Sutton which will help increase the number of properties available for homeless households and those on universal credit or housing benefit”.

renttl.co.uk, launches exclusively in the London Borough of Sutton on Monday August 12th 2019.
