The borough’s community farm has issued a welcome to members of public to the farm for its annual Harvest Festival.

“In one week’s time we will welcome members of the public to the farm for our annual Harvest Festival celebration on Saturday 7th September from 11am – 4pm.

“The Harvest Festival is a great community get-together, with farm tours, kids activities, games, music and local stall holders all to keep attendees entertained. Tasty food and drink will be available for purchase, as we will cook up a storm in our wood-fired pizza oven, using farm ingredients for toppings and our cherry tomatoes for passata. We will also have a salad bar and another food offering from our wholesale customer chefs from Petershams Nurseries. Beer from Gipsy Hill brewery will be the tipple, and we’ll also have a selection of soft drinks. Tickets are £3 for adults, under-18s have free entry. Book tickets via our Eventbrite page.”
